The PI/PD has the responsibility to administer the grant in accordance with both sponsor and university regulations. The ORSP reviews award documentation and, upon request, prepares a Highlight of Award (HOA) of the project for the PI/PD. Provided to supplement the PI/PD’s own reading of the award document, the HOA summarizes the key information regarding the award, including performance period, budget amount, cost-sharing commitments, key sponsor personnel information, sponsor regulations, acknowledgment requirements, and reporting requirements.
