Overall program authority and responsibility to implement the policies and regulations governing the UM Institutional Animal Care and Use Program and the recommendations of the Guide are vested in The University of Mississippi Vice Chancellor for Research and Sponsored Programs, Dr. Alice M. Clark. The Vice Chancellor for Research and Sponsored Programs is the Institutional Official (IO) to whom the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and the University Veterinarian report.
